A man of few words & many dreams, rarely speaks of his work and chooses feelings over logic.

His artistic quest began at the Delhi College of Art, where six years of study nurtured his vision, and an MFA in Graphic Design led him into a realm of art forever. His first-and only-job was at JWT/Contract Advertising, Delhi. It became a space of deep learning, where he observed, absorbed, and grew under the influence of some of the country's most respected art directors and writers.

It wasn't long before his passion for art and design found expression through photography. In 1996, he embraced advertising photography as his profession. It enriched his experience, taking him through new landscapes, cultures, and glamour. His work received recognition from The One Show, New York Festivals, Lurzer's Archive, ANDY Awards, and CAG. He was honoured with the Teacher's Achievement Award in 2001.

Somewhere along the way - he doesn't even remember exactly when his wanderings for poetry and the mountains began. From this quest, a body of personal work slowly emerged, which he wishes to reveal in 2025.

Amid the stillness of COVID-19, he took a pause from photography to follow his long-held craving for design. He immersed himself in designing a few cottages on a land nestled in the Himalayas-attending to every detail, from woodwork and furniture to lighting and fabrics.
